WEB210 » 07a) Visual Design Studies

You will need to show your Client how you are going to implement a branded treatment for their website via a Visual Design Study.

Requirements:

  • Take a look at my example Visual Design Study as this is the format that you will follow to complete this assignment. You can also download my sample Master Art File for reference.
  • You must complete at least three visual design solutions for your home page and one main page (total of six pages) by mixing and matching typography, color and imagery treatments on top of your Content Layouts (Wireframes).
  • This shall be done either in Illustrator, posted on your staging area for Client approval as your “Visual Design Studies” assignment according to the class Schedule (Fall) or Schedule (Summer).

Need to test your design in all browsers? Even IE 6? Try the new Adobe Browser Labs, my new favorite site for testing designs in many browsers. An Adobe ID is required to log into this online tool.

One of the best articles I’ve seen on CSS and production skills. Also covers some great IE 6 coding techniques to help you avoid browser issues. Highly recommended.
