WEB170 » 07) Create The Template Files for Your Theme
If you have ever broken a template apart and created a multi-page website using php includes, breaking your theme apart into the template files should be a relatively familiar concept to you.
Requirements:
- You need to break your theme apart into the 1) The Document (header.php), 2) The Footer (footer.php), 3) 4) Index (index.php), 5) Pages (page.php), 6) Single Post (single.php), 7) The Static Front Page (front-page.php) template files.
- Tag each file with the file’s name so I can see them in action.
- I will check your Protosite’s “View” and “Code” links from your Client Staging Area according to the class Schedule (Spring) to review and grade.

I don’t really get this. Why are we saving our index.php 3 times as 3 different files?
