WEB210 » 07b) WordPress Prototype Theme Creation
Once your Designers have their Content Layout (Wireframes) approved, you, yes… YOU, the Developer, will need to make the Template files and create a working Prototype Theme. And, yes, I realize that the preceding sentence broke all of the Writing for the Web rules.
Requirements:
- From the Content Layout (Wireframes), you should start by Creating your WordPress Prototype Theme theme that includes 1) index.php and 2) style.css.
- You will then work on Creating the Template Files for a WordPress Theme and implementing the WordPress functions.
- This Prototype Theme should be uploaded to your GitHub repository and used as your Working Theme in your WordPress install on you Development Staging Server.
- I will check the “Protosite” and “GitHub” links from your Client Staging Area as your “Templates & Prototype Theme Creation” assignment according to the class Schedule (Fall) or Schedule (Summer) for review and grade.
