WEB170 » 01) Choose Your Project Site

You need to find and choose a website project for your assignments in the WEB170 class. This project you pick will be your selected website project for the rest of the assignments and will be finished as your final project. This should also end up being a portfolio piece for you.

The final outcome must have at least four main pages with one page having at least three sub-pages. If you have taken either WEB200 or WEB120, you should opt to use your final project from that class to create a WordPress theme from.

Requirements:

  1. Pick your project website that you will be using to complete your assignments for this quarter.
  2. Create a Client Staging Area for your project that will have links to view your 1) templates and 2) protosite.
  3. Create a GitHub account (if you don’t have one already) and link to your code repository for your templates that will eventually become your theme for your protosite.
  4. Leave the URL of your Client Staging Area as a comment on this page as your “Choose Your Project Site” assignment according to the class Schedule (Spring).

Example:  WEB170 | Mike Sinkula

This portion of the Premium Design Works website is written by Mike Sinkula for the Web Design & Development students at Seattle Central College and the Human Centered Design & Engineering students at the University of Washington.

    Hi,

This is link to my staging area page. The one that you have already has some path changes to it.

    Thanks,

    Sue

Had an issue with my domain. Corrected and now link should work.

  3. Did not realize you have to submit separate links to individual assignments when they are due on same day. Please refer to my other assignment for a time-stamp.

Mike Sinkula would not consider this not organic.
