The Feelmore Website Uses WordPress

Posted on December 27th, 2009 in Case Studies

Website design, development and WordPress integration for “The Feelmore,” 13th Grade’s news website that features much mayhem, debauchery and a couple of tchotchkes.

The Problem

Most bands are on a tight budget and cannot afford good equipment, studio time or a good website. Not having a website means your band will miss out on having a slick promotional tool where they can publish their music, photos, videos and news.

Even if a band gets one of their friends to build them a static website as a class project, the problem then becomes updating the site and keeping the content current. Usually no one in the band knows HTML.

The Solution

Premium Design Works designed and built a simple looking “news” themed website for 13th Grade integrated with WordPress.

Features included in the 13th Grade site:

  1. News Feed
  2. NextGen Photo Galleries
  3. YouTube Video Feed
  4. Gigs Calendar
  5. Flash Music Player
  6. Online Store
  7. Subscriber’s List

We love the flexibility our new website has given us. WordPress is so damn easy… even Greg Brady uses it.

Now the members of 13th Grade can send out a posting to their subscribers list every time they play a show, have a new video, record a new song or just have some photos you should see.
